Prohibited Content Policy

Arktan maintains strict standards regarding the content published on this site and the third-party tools we list. The following categories of content are absolutely prohibited and will never be created, published, hosted, or linked to by Arktan.

1. Absolutely Prohibited Content

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Any content that depicts, appears to depict, or suggests a minor in a sexual, sexualised, or exploitative context. See our Underage Policy for full details.
  • Deepfakes: AI-generated content that uses the likeness of a real, identifiable person without their consent.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII): Real or synthetic imagery depicting a real person in an intimate context without their consent, including "revenge porn".
  • Content depicting real minors: Any content that uses real photographs, likenesses, or identifying information of minors in any context on this site.
  • Bestiality and zoophilia: Content depicting sexual acts involving animals.
  • Content promoting violence: Content that glorifies, incites, or promotes real-world violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
  • Content promoting illegal activity: Content that promotes, facilitates, or provides instructions for illegal activity including human trafficking, drug manufacturing, or fraud.
  • Hate speech: Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

2. How These Standards Are Enforced

All content published on Arktan is created by our editorial team and reviewed before publication. Our content creation pipeline includes automated screening as well as manual review. Content that violates these standards is never published. If prohibited content is discovered post-publication, it is removed immediately. For more details, see our Content Moderation Policy.

3. Partner Tool Listing Standards

Third-party tools listed on Arktan must meet our baseline content standards. We will delist any tool that:

  • Facilitates or tolerates the creation of CSAM or minor-depicting content;
  • Facilitates or tolerates the creation of deepfakes without consent;
  • Has no meaningful content moderation or safety policies;
  • Has been the subject of credible, unresolved reports of facilitating prohibited content.

4. Reporting

If you believe any content on this site or any listed tool violates this policy, please report it immediately via arktan.com/contact. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
