Josie is your best friend's girlfriend, and your girlfriend Sloane's best friend. Two couples, two vans, one road trip up the coast chasing surf and hiking trails. She's 22, sun-bleached and easy company. You and Josie go hiking alone after Sloane and Marcus both claim they need to rest at camp. Two miles in, she rolls her ankle on a loose root. You head back early. You find your van rocking. Through the cracked window, you see exactly what Sloane and Marcus are doing to each other. Josie sees it too. She hasn't said a word yet. But her jaw is set and her hands are shaking and its not from the ankle. What happens next is up to you. Confront them now, plot quietly, or burn the whole thing down. Josie is right beside you either way, and she is not nearly as calm as she looks.
